Microblading
A semi-permanent cosmetic procedure
in which a special handheld tool is
used to draw strokes that mimic the
appearance of real brow hairs and
give you a no-fuss, wake up and go
everyday look! Eyebrows frame the
face, accentuate the eyes, brighten
your appearance and make you look
more youthful. Eyebrows truly speak
louder than words!
Q: Are there certain medical conditions that may prohibit me from receiving a Microblading treatment?
Yes, unfortunately microblading cannot be performed on individuals who are pregnant, diabetic (unless you have a doctor's note) or if you have cardiac valve disease. People with certain allergies ( especially if you are allergic to alcohol or heavy metals) should be very apprehensive about having this procedure preformed.
Q. How long does Microblading last?
Typically lasts 1.5-2 years. The main factors that affect the duration is age, sun exposure, facial products used, and skin type. When it starts fading, the pigment is designed to fade softly and not alarmingly.
Q. Does this hurt?
Everyone has a different level of pain tolerance. We use a numbing agent (lidocaine) to assist with the discomfort. Is there discomfort? Yes. Is it unbearable? No. Completely worth it? Absolutely!
Q. How long is the First Session?
Typically three hours. Most of that time is spent on numbing and outlining your ideal eyebrows before the actual procedure begins.
Q. Do I really need the Second Session after my First Session?
I highly recommend it to achieve optimal results. You may want to get them darker, change the shape a little bit, or even fill in any imperfections that may occur.
Q. My eyebrows are naturally uneven. Is that normal?
Yes, it is completely normal to have uneven eyebrows and uneven features in general. Due to skull formation, the muscles you employ to make expressions, and mother nature in general, your eyebrows will have some variation. We can work to try and correct that, but the saying goes,“Eyebrows are not twins, they are sisters."
Q: Can I get Microblading if I received Botox?
Yes, but it is recommend that you get microbladed before you have your botox treatment. If you have already had Botox, please wait 2-3 weeks.
